🧶 Meet Tracy Poulsen – Custom Rug Artist & Founder of Tufted Customs LLC

Tracy Poulsen is a self-taught textile artist and the creative force behind Tufted Customs LLC. With a deep love for color, texture, and storytelling through design, Tracy specializes in crafting one-of-a-kind, hand-tufted rugs that blend artistry with functionality.

What began as a personal creative project with his wife and son. During a Valentines date with his wife to a place where they could make rugs,  quickly evolved into a full-fledged business, as Tracy’s unique designs and attention to detail caught the eye of interior designers, collectors, and everyday art lovers. His rugs are known for their bold visuals, clean craftsmanship, and the personal touch he brings to every piece.

Tracy works out of his studio in Payson, Utah, where he designs, tuftes, and finishes each rug by hand. He draws inspiration from pop culture, nature, abstract art, and client stories believing that every rug should reflect the personality and vision of its owner.

Whether it’s a custom commission or a ready-made piece, Tracy approaches each project with care, creativity, and a commitment to quality. His goal is simple: to make rugs that feel as good as they look, and to help people bring warmth and individuality into their spaces.
